| Even in this enlightened day and age, many divorced parents are still using their
children as pawns to push personal agendas.
The website, www.coparenting.co.za, is almost one year old and has already
reached more than 55 000 individuals countrywide, offering support, advice
and a forum for constructive discussion.
On request of visitors to the site and as a natural extension thereof, we
are setting up Coparenting Support Groups in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and
Bloemfontein. (Please note that we will gladly set up groups in other cities
on request.)
Each group is led by a team consisting of some or all of the following professionals:
a Social Worker, Child Psychologist and Family Lawyer.
The purpose of the support groups include:
1. To provide a safe and supportive place for parents after a divorce or during
separation.
2. To share constructive coparenting information and find ways to better the
lives of our children.
3. To share general good parenting skills.
Please contact us to enquire about the dates and location of the next meeting
in your area.
Kindly Note: Although the sessions are free of charge, confirmation of attendance
is requested.
